Emergosol Ltd is a family business founded in 2003 by Anne Langan, daughter Emma Rogers and son-in-law, Hugo Franco. In 2015 Miguel Langan also joined as a partner.
Emergosol´s main activity is exporting fresh produce to England, France, Brasil, Morroco, Holand, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Croatia, Switzerland and Poland.
With extensive long term experience of working with the British market, bi-lingual abilites and technical qualifications, Emergosol endeavors to meet every demand made by theis customers.
The purpose is to provide a reception service for our smaller growers and to pack graded fruit to individual customers specific requirements.
Construction of the initial phase was concluded at the end of 2010. Volumes packed are increasing daily and subsequent expansions have followed.
Currently the our packhouse has 2000m2, of which 300m2 is cold storage. We are equipped with two netting and labelling machines, one flowpack machine and an automatic bagging line.
All our produce has GLOBALGAP certification and some also have TESCO Nature and F2F.Know the Products
Emergosol works closely with growers of a wide range of produce throughout Portugal to meet strict customer specifications.
Our extensive technical team accompanies growers and packing to maintain a high standard of quality and to make sure all products comply to technical requirements.
In 2013, Emergosol and Growers joined a Producers Organization, Carmo & Silvério S.A. This venture enhanced Emergosol´s range of products and increased packing capacity.
During the same year, Emergosol also acquired a 80 ha stone fruit orchard located in Elvas - Herdade D. Isabel.
In 2014 Emergosol also invested in a 20 ha farm - Geração Genuína, located in Torres Vedras, to grow exotic vegetables.
